PLANET DESERT ROCK WEEKEND V
LAST CALL on Sunday, Feb. 2nd!
Venue Update!
Rockers, we have a quick update!
Planet Desert Rock Weekend V is just over a month away, and we are super excited to have everyone! We still have some tickets available for those who haven’t snagged theirs yet!
We have a venue switch for the Night 4 – Last Call show. We’re happy to announce it will now take place at Count’s Vamp’d. That means our rock’ n roll party will be there three out of the four nights, with the exceptional Saturday Night 3 show at The Usual Place.
Desert rock legends Unida will kick off opening night (January 30th), along with three international bands: Mr. Bison (Italy), Sons of Arrakis (Canada), and Samavayo (Germany).
Friday’s Night 2 follows with a Ripple Music Showcase of five killer bands from this highly regarded music label. The lineup includes heavy rock legends Fireball Ministry (their first show since 2019), JIRM (Sweden), Valley of the Sun, Fire Down Below (Belgium), and Godzillionaire, featuring ’90s grunge-era band Paw frontman Mark Hennessey.
We also added Bay Area heavy rockers The Watchers to the Night 3 Saturday show, which includes the incredible Mos Generator, Sergeant Thunderhoof (UK), Solace, Omega Sun (Slovenia), and Green Desert Water (Spain). Saturday promises to be a fantastic night.
And a quick FYI, don’t forget: the Last Call show on Night 4 is a separate ticket that seems to be immensely popular now. Heck, it’s a can’t-miss evening with the lineup of Duel, BoneHawk, Luna Sol, Iota, and Jason Walker‘s Badmotorfinger. Local talent Walker will kick off the show by paying homage to Soundgarden’s ‘Badmotorfinger’!

For those still on the fence, here are some excellent reviews from past events:
“Planet Desert Rock Weekend in Las Vegas is an absolute must for rock enthusiasts! The event offers amazing sound quality at both locations, creating an immersive experience for every performance. The lineup is a perfect mix of talented bands, including an international showcase that brings incredible acts from around the world to the stage. What truly sets this festival apart is the unique opportunity to interact with the bands, making it a more personal and unforgettable experience for fans. Whether you’re a die-hard rock fan or just love live music, Planet Desert Rock Weekend delivers in every way! Highly recommended!” – DJ from Orlando, FL
“PDRW is a load of fun! And the fact that many fans continue to come back year after year is a testament to the well-curated line up of rockin’ bands, awesome venues and staff and strong camaraderie in the crowd. You always leave with more friends than you arrived with and what better place to do this than Vegas! John Gist puts a lot of effort into this festival and it shows. We can’t wait to go back!” – Debbie from Oakland, CA
“I attended Planet Desert Rock Weekend this year and I’m really looking forward to it again next year. The shows don’t start until the evening, so you have a chance to see other sites in Vegas. It’s not overwhelming like some festivals can be. No multiple stages and no overlapping performances, just one great band after another with about 20 minutes in between to have a smoke or grab a drink. I attended alone and was a little nervous but half way through the first night it felt like a big party and we were all there together. I met a bunch of cool people and some of the band members were very approachable and friendly too. See you in Vegas hopefully!” – Andy from NYC
